November 23 – 25, 2011 Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo - Egypt Welcome Message Every year, we look forward to the Annual Rhinology Conference: the biggest rhinology event in the region that brings expertise and practitioners together in an atmosphere full of innovation and enterprise. In 2011, the main theme of the conference is “The State of the Art in Endoscopic Sinonasal Surgery”. It is our great honor to announce that the Egyptian Rhinology Group has won the bid for the IRS 2013 (International Rhinology Society) in addition to the ISIAN 2013 (International Symposium of the Infection and Allergy of the Nose). These prestigious annual conferences are considered the biggest annual international rhinology gatherings all over the world. They will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh in October 2013 for the first time in the Middle East and/or Africa. This year we will celebrate the 1st issue of Pan Arab Journal of Rhinology as one important step in promoting CME in field of Rhinology in the region. This year, we are privileged to have Professor Prof. Andreas Leunig (Germany), Prof. Habil. Gero Strauß (Germany) and Prof.Parul Goyal (USA) in addition to all the key rhinologists from Egypt and Arab countries. The state of the art in sinonasal endoscopic surgery: basic, advanced, and extended and beyond will be discussed. The two-day conference will be followed by one day of instruction courses. Three valuable prizes [sinonasal endoscopy forceps] will be offered to the best presentations amongst young researchers. This year we will have and for 1st time an exhibition for poster presentation of scientific papers and valuable price will be presented for best poster presentation. Participants will have the chance to take an active role in the discussion during the meeting and the post conference instruction courses. It is truly an event that should not be missed.
